Assisi

Assisi, holy land, birthplace of St Francis, founding father of the Franciscan friars. Here, at every corner of the city, one breathes a mystical air and spirituality reaches lofty heights. Just as high will be the amazement in admiring the splendid frescoes attributed to Giotto in the Upper Basilica.

Siena

Siena, one of the most unique cities in Tuscany, is famous for the Palio, which twice a year (2 July and 16 August) sets the hearts of the Sienese and the 17 contrade that make it up on fire. The Palio is run in Piazza del Campo, the distinctive shell-shaped square.

Pisa

Pisa and the Piazza dei Miracoli, a concentration of art and beauty that makes the visitor’s eyes glaze over.
